1. Open Settings:

1. Select the Network & internet option

1. Go to Ethernet and select this option

1. The default Ethernet IP assignment will be Automatic (DHCP).
   1. Select Edit option

1. Once you are in edit mode:

   1. select the IP settings option “Manual

   

     b. set IPv4 to “on”
   

 c. enter the laptop recommended IP address and Subnet mask. Select save.
