Node-RED flows can be easily imported. This can be a useful tool for adding powerful Node-RED IO templates to your recipe, or copying one IO Block configuration to many different recipes. Example flows from the manual can be imported to any OV20i.
- Click on the hamburger menu in the top-right and select “Import”

- A popup window titled “Import nodes” will appear. Click “select a file to import” and select the JSON file you’d like to import from your computer. The text of the JSON file will appear in the popup window. Click “Import” to add this file to your current flow.

- Depending on the flow you may see this modal pop up after importing. Click Import copy.

- After clicking Import, an overlay of the newly imported flow will appear. Click into the flow editor window to place the new nodes into your current flow. Importing is now complete—it’s a good idea to click Deploy after importing new nodes to save these changes. You may also need to clean up the flow by deleting or reconfiguring nodes to suit your use case in order for it to work correctly.
