To prevent changes by unauthorized users, the OV20i has a users and permissions system to restrict functionality behind a password. By default, the users and permissions system is disabled and any user with network access has full access to the OV20i.

There are three possible users:

• Operator
  • By default, the Operator can operate the camera with the HMI.
• Supervisor
  • By default, the Supervisor can operate the camera and switch between recipes.
• Engineer
  • By default, the Engineer has full access to the camera

The specific permissions can be changed in Settings → Users and Permissions.
